Letter to church pastors in the Princeton area notes that 1968 is "Human Rights Year" and March 21, the eighth anniversary of the Sharpeville massacre in South Africa, is the "International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination." The letter also reports that the illegal Rhodesian regime hung three Africans whose sentences had been commuted by the Queen and that the South African government gave life sentences to several South West Africans (Namibians) in a South African court.
