Mailing advertising a benefit concert at St. John the Divine Cathedral and seeking to raise money for the Patriotic Front (ZANU and ZAPU). The mailing says the February election in Zimbabwe will be a turning point for the people of southern Africa. The outcome will affect the whole of Africa and possibly the course of world events. Because some much is at stake in the contest between the Patriotic Front and the reactionary Muzorewa forces, the South African government and multinational corporations have overtly and covertly given millions of dollars to defeat the Patriotic Front and to install Muzorewa as the "elected" government.
