Invitation by the Southern Africa Project to a brown bag luncheon with the speaker David Smuts, Esg. on October 30, 1984 at the Hogan and Hartson Law Firm. David Smuts is an attorney with the Namibian law firm of Lorentz and Bone. He acted on behalf of the Lawyers' Committee to challenge the six-year detention of people at the prison camp near Mariental, Namibia, most of whom had been taken from the refugee camp in Cassinga, Angola.
