Fall 1977?
1 page
Press release highlighting the call by the Supreme Council for Sport in Africa to oppose New York City as the site of the 1984 Olympic Games because the city had signed a lease with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) despite the USTA's continued support of South Africa involvement in international tennis. The press release refers to "the recently concluded World Conference for Action Against Apartheid" which was held in Lagos, Nigeria in August 1977 so this document was presumably issued later that year.
