The next Chapter meeting will include updates about developments in Nigeria, Ruanda, Somalia, Liberia and Haiti. There will be committee reports on fundraising and political education plans. The invited guest speaker is Counsel General Jean Geneus of Haiti. Several other activities are scheduled during the fall, including the Haitian Studies Association Conference, October 14-15 at UMass Boston, our annual fall cultural fundraising event, and the National State of the Race Conference, November 17-20, Baltimore, Maryland. Randall Robinson, TransAfrica Executive Director, has been invited to speak in Boston this fall.
