The October 26 meeting agenda will include the protest at the South African Embassy business conference, upcoming educational work, and a possible ANC fundraiser. Lou Wolf will chair. The D.C. Divest Bill 5-18 passed the City Council and now goes to Congress; anyone interested in helping with lobbying should contact Chris Root. We need to ensure the bill survives possible review by Congress. Dennis Brutus will be in Washington, D.C. at Antioch Law School, and there will probably be a party to celebrate his recent victory over Reagan administration attempts to deport him.
