Leaflet adverting reception and program on January 29, 1989 at Howard University Cramton Auditorium, sponsored by the African National Congress (ANC), the South African Women's Day Committee, and Howard University African Students' Association. There will be an update on the release of Nelson Mandela and all political prisoners. The Keynote Address will be by Aubrey Mokoena, Chairperson of the Release Mandela Campaign in South Africa. Dr. Ben Chavis, Commission on Racial Justice of the United Church of Christ, also will speak. The event will include jazz performance by the Shirley Scott Trio and the 4 1/2 Hours Jazz Quartet.
