The report says they went to Khotso House, home of the national ELCSA, of the South African Council of Churches, and several other church and humanitarian organizations including Black Sash. The report says they had a conversation with John Evenson who directs the Namibia Communications Centre, based in London. Dr. Abissi Shejavali, director of the Council of Churches in Namibia, had chartered a plane to fly people north. The report says it is clear that poor people in Ethiopia are facing both a human-made crisis and a natural one. • Contents: JOURNAL OF CHARLES LUTZ NAMIBIA/ETHIOPIA 19-31 MARCH 1986 • Wednesday 19 March • Thursday 20 March • Friday 21 March • 1.
