The leaflet says August 9, 1956, stands is a proud day for women of South Africa; more than 20,000 women of all races from all over the country gathered at the capitol to demand the withdrawal of Pass Books for women and the repeal of the pass laws. Women in the Bay Area Free South Africa Movement are calling on all women to support the struggle of women in South Africa by participating in this event.
