Letter to people attending the Western Regional Southern Africa Organizing Conference at Laney College in Oakland held May 22-25, 1992 hosted by the Bay Area Anti-Apartheid Network (BAAAN). The conference will take a hard look at the current realities governing southern Africa and create an action agenda. We must learn from the successes of our divestment and sanctions campaigns to devise pro-active strategies linking us with people in South Africa and rededicate ourselves to fighting international racism from West Oakland to the Western Cape.
