Memorandum by Jody Parsons, co-coordinator of NC-ICCR (Northern California Interfaith Committee on Corporate Responsibility) about the background of NC-ICCR's involvement in challenging bank loans to South Africa and Chile. Two of NC-ICCR's priority areas for the year include bank loans, investments, and human rights concerns in these two countries. During the past two years, NC-ICCR has focused on Bank of America's (BOA) involvement in loans to these two countries. A South Africa task force of NC-ICCR is forming, which will make action recommendations to NC-ICCR's monthly meetings. The memorandum also mentions Wells Fargo Bank.
