Letter to Stop Banking on Apartheid (SBOA) c/o the Africa Resource Center saying that the Berkeley Anti-Apartheid Network (B.A.A.N.) plans to picket the West Berkeley branch of the Bank of America to protest the bank's continued complicity in the policies of the South African government. B.A.A.N. will also be handing out information on apartheid to bank customers and getting petition signatures. The letter asks if SBOA has any materials or advice regarding this action, which is planned for January 8, to coincide with the anniversary of the African National Congress (ANC).
