African National Congress (ANC) leaders say the April 26-28 elections will mean that "the people of South Africa, will for the first time, be free to determine their own future. This election will bury the racist, oppressive and exploitative order and put 'People's Power' into the hands of the victorious party and mandate that party to build a united, nonracial, democratic, and nonsexist South Africa."
