Letter of invitation to a celebration of the liberation struggles being waged by the African National Congress (ANC) and the South West African Peoples Organisation (SWAPO). The benefit will be held on February 27 at La Peña Cultural Center in Berkeley. There will be a performance by Swing Shift--a women's jazz group, poetry, dances, and food. Lucia Hamutenya of SWAPO, Vusi Shangase of ANC, and Barbara Lee Chisom, assistant to Ron Dellums, will speak. Tickets are available at the Africa Resource Center.
