The leaflet advertising film series by the Africa Resource Center and the La Pena Cultural Center to celebrate African History Month, held at the La Pena Cultural Center in Berkeley. The four rarely-shown films are "Things Fall Apart" based on the novel by Chinua Achebe that takes place during the Biafran-Nigerian War, "Denmark Vesey" about a slave revolve in South Carolina, "The Other Francisco" about slavery and resistance in Cuba in the 19th century, and "The Murder of Fred Hampton" about the FBI's assassination of this Black Panther leader. Proceeds will benefit the periodical subscription fund of the Africa Resource Center.
