The leaflet critiques the claim by International Business Machine (IBM) that it is no longer in South Africa. IBM sold its South African branch to white management, who call the "new" company Information Services Management. That company can now sell IBM computers directly to the South African military and police, which IBM was previously prohibited from doing under U.S. law (although this was circumvented). Historically, IBM computers have been used in South Africa in military tracking systems, police communications, the identity documents system, the government-owned South African Broadcasting Corporation, South African Airways, and two of the sham "homelands" administrations.
