Willis Logan and Audrey Smock presented about the current situation regarding South Africa and its outstanding loans. Noting that a decision was expected on February 20 about the rollover of South African loan, the Committee decided to send telegrams to the ten U.S. banks expected to take part in that rollover. Dr. W. Astor Kirk volunteered to explore organizing a Day of Witness, including possibly a National Service in Washington, D.C. on June 16, 1986.
