The Africa Resource Center provides current and historical print information, audio-visual tools, action ideas and projects, and the Bay Area Chapter of the Mozambique Support Network is based here. Media sources about southern Africa include Africa News, Facts and Reports, KPFA FM (Berkeley), and KPOO FM (San Francisco). Educational ideas include neighborhood discussions, a special Day of Concern, a film series, letters to the editor and call-in radio shows. The Southern Africa Medical Aid Fund is raising funds for a health care center and for Mozambicans living in refugee camps.
