Leaflet advertising a protest at the Federal Building in Chicago on August 8, 1989, to honor the courageous struggle of South African women against apartheid. Women workers in South Africa are joining the unions in large numbers to demand dignity and their rights as workers. The apartheid government is continuing the "state of emergency" which denies unions the freedom to organize. U.S. sanctions will help end apartheid.
