A model resolution, for local unions or other organizations, condemning the South African regime for denying democratic rights to the majority and for the repression of trade unions. It also expresses solidarity with union members in South Africa in their struggle to end the system of apartheid and replace it with democratic majority rule. The resolution endorses the Simon/Dellums Comprehensive Sanctions bills in the U.S. Congress and urges Illinois senator Alan J. Dixon to work for and vote for this bill.
