The memorandum says Union Days At The Museum will showcase the DuSable Museum and Labor Against Apartheid. Videos represent a range of viewpoints relating to labor solidarity and the fight against racism and apartheid. Visitors are expected from various communities and unions, many with their families, with very different levels of understanding about unions and about South Africa. Videos to be shown include "Leading The Way: Black Trade Unions in South Africa" (Labor Institute of Public Affairs, AFL-CIO, 1985); "The Moses Mavekiso Campaign" (United Auto Workers 1991); "The Afrikaner Experience: Politics of Exclusion" (United Nations), "Unions Yes! Apartheid No!" (Labor Institute of Public Affairs, 1990); "They'll Never Keep Us Down!" (United Mine Workers of America, 1989); "Illinois Labor Network Against Apartheid"; "Mandela: At 1990 AFSCME Convention" (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees); and "Hlanganani! Workers Unite!" (Congress of South African Trade Unions, 1991). The memorandum mentions Harold Rollins, South African union representatives, U.S. unions, non-white South African unions, Archester Neil, AFSCME (American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees), Basil Clunie, the Chicago Committee in Solidarity with Southern Africa (CCISA), the UAW (United Auto Workers), trial, treason, Carl Shier, Rachel Rubin, Cook County Hospital House Staff Association (CCHHSA), Charlene Snelling, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), Kathy Devine, the Newspaper Guild, UMWA (United Mine Workers of America), President Richard Trumka, Rev. Jesse Jackson, Cole Wright, UFCW (United Food and Commercial Workers), Anthony McDonald, Katie Clay, Nelson and Winnie Mandela, Harold Rogers, the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists (CBTU), Ron Bowden, the Congress of South African Trade Unions (COSATU), Michael Elliott, and Barbara Gude.
