The mailing invites people to the Soweto Day Walkathon on June 13 at Malcolm X College, sponsored by Church World Service, Chicago Committee in Solidarity with Southern Africa (CCSSA), and the Chicago-Alexandra Sister Community Project. In three years, churches, unions, schools and other groups have raised more than $30,000 from Walkathons to help groups struggling against apartheid in the southern Africa region.
