Leaflet advertising "Union Days at the Museum" on September 18-19 and a reception on September 19 with African dance performance, presentation on South African unions, and refreshments. There will be an exhibit of 100 color photographs by David C. Turnley, "Why Are They Weeping? South Africans under Apartheid." These photos document inequalities of life under apartheid and resistance to apartheid. The DuSable Museum of African American History and the Illinois Labor Network Against Apartheid are cooperating on these events.
