At "POUTICAL FERMENT IN SOUTH AFRICA: Reflections on a Recent Visit," on October 4, Stephanie Urdang, author of Fighting Two Colonialisms: Women in Guinea-Bissau, will report on growing resistance in neighborhoods and worksites, the reaction of the apartheid regime, and changes in power configurations, as well as implications for support work in the U.S. The October 4 event will take place at Monthly Review.
