This leaflet was produced as part of a campaign to boycott Allegría and other Portuguese wines because of Portuguese colonialism. This leaflet was most likely handed out at demonstrations at liquor stores that sold Allegria wine. (In 1973, wine could only be purchased in a liquor store.) Producers of Allegria selected two college towns, Ithaca, New York and Madison, Wisconsin, as target areas to promote Allegria and test its popularity in the United States. • DON'T BUY "MADE IN PORTUGAL" PRODUCTS
