Collin Gonze had prepared a draft letter to various African leaders inviting them to give testimonials to the work of the American Committee on Africa for the Tenth Anniversary Issue of "Africa Today"; leaders who will be invited to give such testimonials includes Chief Hosea Kutako, Ntsu Mokhele, John Nquku, Holden Roberto, Agostinho Neto, Joshua Nkomo, Kamuzu Banda, Julius Nyerere, Rashidi Kawawa, Milton Obote, Emperor Haile Selassie, Cyrille Adoula, Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa, Kwame Nkrumah, Felix Houphouet Boigny, Sekou Toure, Leopold Senghor, Habib Bourguiba, Ahmed Ben Bella, Hassan II, Tom Mboya, Jomo Kenyatta, Ronald Ngala, Kenneth Kaunda, Chief Lutuli, Nnamdi Azikiwe, Oliver Tambo, Michael Scott, Eduardo Mondlane, William Tubman, Jariretundu Kozonguizi, Mburumba Kerina, and Potlako Leballo. The minutes discusses the National Committee, Carnegie Hall, Holden Roberto, Oliver Tambo, Jariretundu Kozonguizi, Eduardo Mondlane, Hope Stevens, James Farmer, Anthony Scotto (International Longshoremen's Association, ILA), a demonstration against South African ships, George Houser, Miriam Makeba, the African National Congress (ANC), and CORE (Congress of Racial Equality).
