The leaflet says two decades have passed since the United Nations ruled that the sole representative of the Namibian people is the South West African Peoples Organization (SWAPO). Despite this ruling, South Africa continues to occupy Namibia, and the people of Namibia continue to suffer political repression, restriction of movement, indiscriminate harassment, violence incarceration, and torture at the hands of apartheid South Africa. More than 100,000 Namibians have fled into Angola, where they live under constant threat of attack by South Africa's army.
