The mailing says as you can see from the enclosures the April 25 demonstration has earned unprecedented backing from a broad array of national labor and religious figures, including National Hospital Union (1199) president Henry Nicholas of Philadelphia; these leaders sense now is the for progressives to take the initiative and exploit the opportunities that the Reagan administration has itself presented to us to end U.S. support for the Nicaraguan contras and the apartheid regime in South Africa.
