Jon Lacey of United Ministries in Higher Education gave subsequent blessings. The article says the shanty members have collected more than a 1,000 petition signatures requesting the MSU Foundation to divest. Lacey will also request the Trustees to instruct the Foundation to divest; the Trustees' meeting is scheduled on Dec. 12, the last day of finals, so fewer students will be here. The article discusses the Sullivan Principles, and the State of Michigan divestiture law for educational institution.
