A group of West Coast activists in the U.S. Southern Africa solidarity movement is cooperating with the ANC and SWAPO to call for a WEST COAST CONFERENCE IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE NATIONAL LIBERATION OF SOUTH AFRICA (ANC) AND NAMIBIA (SWAPO) on June 27-29, 1986, in the San Francisco Bay Area. The conference will include high-level officials of the ANC and SWAPO and will discuss material aid, divestment of university and other public funds, boycotts, cutting off of trade, closures of South African consulates, and legislative campaigns to put teeth into Reagan's empty sanctions.
