Letter to Dr. David Wiley reporting on progress of anti-apartheid organizing in Kalamazoo. There is good cooperation from a couple of the City Commissioners and a very good cross-section of people in the community. The Monday evening session on June 7 will be moderated by Dr. Franks, a local dentist and member of the Board of Trustees of Western Michigan University, who has been advocating for disinvestment. The letter says that, by this meeting, we hope to have information from Commissioner Decker about the business transactions and investments of the city of Kalamazoo with corporations doing business in South Africa.
