Leaflet advertising a demonstration on April 6 at Provident Bank. The leaflet says the National Executive Council of the AFL-CIO, the NAACP, the National Council of Churches and the United Auto Workers have all called for ending economic ties with South Africa; there are three banks in the city--Provident, BNB (Philadelphia National Bank) and First Pa. (First Pennsylvania Bank)--have been investing money in South Africa's racist regime. The leaflet includes a quote by Dr. Martin Luther Ling, Jr. The leaflet says endorsers are the University of Pennsylvania Committee for Divestment, U of Delaware Committee Against Investments in South Africa, Temple University Coalition for the Liberation of South Africa, Swarthmore Anti-Apartheid Committee, NAIMSAL (National Anti-Imperialist Movement in Solidarity with African Liberation), Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, Women's Strike for Peace, the National Conference of Black Lawyers (Philadelphia Chapter), and the Namibia Action Group. The leaflet says the demonstration is sponsored by Delaware Valley Anti-Apartheid Coordinating Committee and the United People's Campaign Against Apartheid and Racism.
