News service report by the Namibia Communication Centre in London, presumably sent by fax, reprinted by The Africa Fund and sent out as a mailing in the U.S. The report says faced with the breakdown of UN 435, the plan for Namibian independence, bishops of the largest churches in the colony are appealing for worldwide help to stop the violent harassment of South Africa's paramilitary police against their people. The report discusses Bishop Kleopas Dumeni, Bishop Hendrik Frederik, the South West Africa Territorial Force (SWATF), the Council of Churches in Namibia (CCN), Koevoet, SWAPO, Brigadier Hans Dreyer, refugees, and Louis Pienaar.
