The mailing says that in July, CD-CAAR members Eileen Kawola and Vera Michelson visited Southern Africa as part of a small fact finding delegation led by Prexy Nesbitt of the Mozambique Solidarity Office. They spoke with people in government and others in South Africa, Mozambique, Namibia and Zimbabwe. CD-CAAR has established the Mozambique Support Committee. The delegation met with Graca Machel and visited a school that is in desperate need of funds. The Mocatini school is our primary material aid project. In its 16-year war, RENAMO has destroyed the majority of schools and health clinics in the country.
