Leaflet by the Religious Action Network of the American Committee on Africa, presumably sent as part of a mailing. The leaflet highlights that, while political progress has been made, more than 3,000 political prisoners remain in apartheid jails, political trials continue, 30 million Black South Africans cannot vote, and Black South Africans still are denied citizenship. Structural inequalities also continue, including segregated schools and 87% of the land still being reserved for four million whites. The leaflet also discusses violence and local white government officials.
