The mailing says the apartheid regime has used covert murder teams to dispose of its opponents at home and abroad. In South Africa, police murders of detainees are regular events, and outspoken dissidents have disappeared to be found dead later - or never found - or openly shot dead in their homes or on the streets. The mailing says the United Democratic Front has called for national days of protest over killings on July 13-14. In occupied Namibia, the Koevoet brigade has terrorized the population in the remote northern zone and now is operating in Windhoek, the capital city.
