The Africa Network plans to honor Nelson Mandela on his 70th birthday by publishing an anthology of poems, TRIBUTE TO NELSON MANDELA. The enclosed "Nelson Mandela 70th Birthday Publication Project" says this effort will bring together South African writers "in exile," other African writers, and American writers in common purpose. The project will establish a Nelson Mandela Scholarship to enable students to study in Black Studies Departments. Rev. Allan Boesak has been asked to write a Forward. The volume will be edited by Estelle Conwill-Alexander, Amelia Blossom House, and Cosmos Pieterse.
