After a year of secret planning, a controversial English cricket team began competing in South Africa. The newsletter reports on Wilfrid Grenville Grey, IDAF's representative at the UN opening the IDAF Michigan Support Committee, to be staffed by Phyllis Jordan, Kano Smith of Detroit. This Committee is the result of efforts by late Reverend Professor Jack Bailey, the Episcopal Diocese, the Right Reverend Thomas J. Gumbleton, St. Agnes Roman Catholic Church, and the Rosa Parks Community Center.
