The mailing says the Seattle City Council passes a resolution endorsing the efforts of the Seattle-Daliwe Sister Community Project. The mailing says there have been negotiations in Daliwe between the residents association, the local white government, and the figurehead black leaders of a nearby township, which let to progress on several issues. The mailing requests donations for this effort to supplement small start-up funding from the U.S.-South Africa Sister Community Project, good will of SANE/FREEZE and many volunteers, and donations generously received at the March 29 meeting.
