Leaflet advertising a march and rally for human rights on August 16, 1991. The organizers want Congress to enact the very strongest civil rights bill and for sanctions to be maintained against apartheid in South Africa. Everybody who shares these objectives, including children, are invited to join the event. People also are asked to contact their elected representatives to express these concerns. The leaflet includes a quote by Nelson Mandela and drawings by Selma Waldman. It mentions Senator Slade Gorton, Rep. John Miller, and Rep. Rod Chandler. Slogans on the leaflet include KEEP SANCTIONS AGAINST SOUTH AFRICA and SUPPORT THE 1991 CIVIL RIGHTS BILL.
