Press release announcing plans of the Steve Biko Memorial Committee regarding the visit of President Jimmy Carter to Chicago on May 25. The Committee has decided to address an open letter to President Carter calling on him to take a stronger stand against apartheid and to cut off call diplomatic, political, economic and cultural links with the racist Pretoria regime. The Committee also plans to mount a picket outside the Conrad Hilton Hotel on this issue.
