Mailing seeking to raise money to send delegates to a conference in South Africa. The Southern Africa Action Network has the opportunity to send delegates from Seattle to the International Youth Conference on "Democracy, Peace and Social Progress" sponsored by the ANC (African National Congress) Youth League in Johannesburg on August 26th-29. Negotiations continue in South Africa, and we must intensive the pressure in the coming months to ensure that democratic, free and fair elections take place in April. The assassination of ANC/Communist Party leader Chris Hani remains fresh in everyone's mind as a glaring example of the unrestrained violence and terrorism that marks apartheid.
