This thank you letter from the Mozambique Education Fund (MEF) reports that MEF has ordered about 300 books from dealers in Lisbon and London and will place additional orders this week. More than 5,000 personalized letters requesting donations will be sent to members of the African Studies Association, liberation support groups, and sympathetic church organizations by the end of the year. The mailing says a prominent West Coast artist and activist, Ruperto Garcia, has designed a multi-colored Mozambique Educational Fund poster.
