The report says The Africa Fund helped support educational programs including schools located in the liberated areas of Mozambique, the secondary school located at Bagamoyo in Tanzania, and the work with orphans and primary school children located at Tunduru in southern Tanzania. The report says The Africa Fund raised funds for the purchase of plows and other agricultural implements to aid farmers in the liberated zones of Tete Province and that The Africa Fund gave assistance to medical work by supporting the Boavida Hospital located at Mtwara in southern Tanzania. The report says the secondary school has been moved from Bagamoyo to Namouka Province. The report discusses extensive discussions with Vice President Marcelino dos Santos (also Minister of Development and Economic Planning) and his assistant Lourenco Mutace.
