Leaflet advertising the movie "Stubborn Hope: A story of a South African exile" by Peggy Stern. It documents the odyssey of Dennis Brutus, a poet-activist-exile, as he travels across the U.S., fighting to make Americans and the world understand the degradation and glory of his homeland, South Africa. The leaflet says that, in 1966, Dennis Brutus was exiled from his country for his anti-apartheid activity. Segregated sports was the target of much of his work; in the 1950s he began soliciting international sports groups to bar South African teams from participating in the International Olympics.
