This press release announces that Dennis Brutus, an internationally acclaimed South African poet and activist and a former prisoner on Robben Island, will be in Philadelphia July 15 and 16. It says Brutus will speak at a march and rally on July 16 and that he will be available for interviews. Brutus was banned in 1962 for his effective campaign to bar South African teams from the Olympic games and has been living in exile since 1966.
