Contents: PRETORIA: WINNING HEARTS AND MINDS - AND GUNS • Mailing about Meta Butler Hunt Travel Inc. soliciting police officers for a luxury nine to 14 day tour of South Africa organized by the South African Police. The mailing asks people to press their local Mayor and City or Town Council to prevent police officers from going on this trip to apartheid-land as guests of the South African Police and do the same with their Governor and State Legislators. The newsletter says the tour co-ordinators are Michael Doyle and Ron Kurelo, formerly of the British South Africa Police (an outfit once serving the Rhodesian regime of Ian Smith) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
