Letter to Yale University President Giamatti and members of Yale Corporation about the University's investment in companies doing business in South Africa. Baldwin criticizes delays and notes that a definition of what constitutes strategic involvement by U.S. corporations has not been forthcoming. Baldwin says the Coalition Against Apartheid continues to argue that total divestment is the only truly ethical course, and one which would avoid the time-consuming work of case-by-case studies of over one hundred companies. Baldwin says monitoring Sullivan compliance is not adequate.
