Mailing to people who are regional contacts for the Mozambique Support Network (MSN) or were involved with Graca Machel's recent U.S. tour. The mailing says California Newsreel recently acquired for distribution the film Chain of Tears which looks at how South Africa's regional and internal war has especially affected children. The mailing includes a press release, NEW FILM ON THE WAR ON CHILDREN IN SOTHERN AFRICA. The film, by award-winning filmmaker Toni Strasburg, was filmed on location in the war-ravaged Front Line States of Mozambique and Angola as well as in South Africa's black townships.
