Fundraising letter for the Bike for Africa project, an initiative of the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy (ITDP) to Africa. ITDP promotes the use of bicycles, carts and other forms of sustainable transportation, and already has undertaken a bike project in Haiti and Bikes Not Bombs in Nicaragua. Bikes for Africa focuses on Mozambique, where rebels backed by South Africa have been attacking civilians since 1982.
